Journeys2Germany. Born in Frankfurt and raised in Wiesbaden, Silke has always had a deep connection to Germany and a love for exploring new destinations. With over 30+ countries under her belt, Silke’s extensive travel experiences have shaped her expertise and fueled her desire to share the beauty of her home country with her clients.

She is a proud mother to three grown children and enjoys life in North Carolina with her fiancé and 4-year old Westie, Gizmo. She is a member of ASTA (American Society of Travel Advisors) and Travel A.L.L.I.E.S Society, a network of dedicated leaders in the travel industry, who inspire, educate and support each other and rising travel advisors. Silke lives by the motto “Community over Competition” and is always mentoring newer advisors and willing to share her knowledge of her beloved industry. With her Mom and sister still residing in Germany, she takes every opportunity to fly “home”, especially during her favorite time of the year to visit the world-famous Christmas Markets.
